Lately you’ve been high on rain.

With your streets flooding,
Traffic jamming,
Children splashing,
And electricity playing the hide & seek game.

And that joy is permeable
When your dwellers share
The visuals of blessings
Which the clouds above you bear

Just so you know that I too hear
That thunderous roar,
Those cheerful laughs,
And those drips & drops
Of their pluviophilic hearts

Hallucinations or Nostalgia
Or hopelessly hopeful day dreams
I do not know what you might name my plea.
All that I know is that my love for you
Rests boundless & seamless,
Sealed in utmost care.
